A loan of $300 helped buy merchandise to resell.

Isaura Suyen's story

Young Isaura Suyen, 27, operates a business, selling clothing and footwear, that she started with her own and her husband's savings. The business has grown, little by little, over the last three years. She lives in the Reparto Espana neighborhood of Managua with her two children, 4 and 9, who are studying in local schools. Isaura will use the loan to buy clothing for men, women and children so that she can continue operating her business. In the future, she would like to own her own store. She's grateful to Afodenic for giving her the chance to borrow money for a business that has allowed her to get ahead in the world and have an income that she can use to help support her family.
