The Village Bank Group consists of 21 people in Chrou Pisei village in Kandal province. The members of the group selected Mrs. Sothen P. for their leader. She is 35 years old and the mother of a child who is attending the local school.

Mrs. Sothen P. is a farmer who owns a small piece of land where she cultivates rice for a living. In this plantation, she now faces a problem with plowing so she decided to ask for a loan to hire a laborer with two oxen to plow the field in order to grow rice.

Her husband, Mr. P. Sipho, is a motorbike taxi driver and he also helps his wife on the rice plantation.

The other members will use their loans for different purposes. All the members are in the picture but some of them are blocked.
