A loan of $1,000 helps to buy basic products, such as rice, beans, sugar, oil and eggs, which are in high demand in his store.

Gregorio's story

Gregorio studied until third grade. He is married and has 3 children, but none of them live with him.

Gregorio sells vegetables from his bicycle, and he has experience in agriculture. In addition, a year ago, he decided to start a general store, since there was no competition near his community. He opens the store to the public from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

The loan will be used to buy basic products, such as rice, beans, sugar, oil and eggs, which are in high demand in his store. With his 2 previous Kiva loans, he was able to improve his life, and he paid both loans off promptly.

His main dream is to build a location for store, because currently, the store is in a room in his home.
