Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $650 helped to buy a photocopier.

Adegboye's story

This is a man who is married and has two people to support.  In 2006, in the Tokoin Séminaire district, he opened a small shop he calls "ADE SERVICE".  In his shop, he offers photocopying, word processing, book-binding, and more.  Currently, his photocopier is malfunctioning, which has reduced his sales figures in recent days.  As a result, he is requesting a loan from WAGES to buy a photocopier and to raise up his sales again.
