Mrs. Naren Phoung Village Bank Loan Group's story

Fifteen people living in Sdau Kanlaeng village in Kandal province comprise this village bank loan group, and they will use the loan for various purposes.

Mrs. Naren P. is the 22-year-old village bank president. She has two children who are enrolled in the local school. She owns a small coffee store in the local village and her husband, Mr. Khut Samnang, is a motor taxi driver.

Now, Mrs. Naren P.’s husband has a problem because he does not have enough money to fix his motorbike. In order to deal with this problem, Mrs. Naren P. decided to ask for a loan to enable her husband to repair his motorbike in order to re-start his business.
