Lotoi's story

Lotoi S. (0) is a 39-year-old woman living in the town of Samatau Fou 4. She is married and has five school-aged children. Lotoi owns and operates a business raising crops, primarily planting and harvesting bananas for sale. She has been engaged in this business for over three years and earns approximately 400 WST a month. Lotoi joined SPBD to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan of 750 WST from SPBD. This previous loan was used to purchase fertilizer such as manure. Lotoi is now requesting a new loan of 1,500 WST which will again be used to purchase fertilizer such as manure. The loan will be her 3rd from SPBD. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
