A loan of $2,775 helped a member to purchase sheep for later resale.

Danaya Ton Group's story

Diakaria is the man holding the ram in the photo. He is Malian, 45 years old, trained, married and the father of four children with ages ranging from 10 to 20. All his children are in school. His wife is a teacher.

He is a trustworthy borrower. He fattens and raises steers and sheep. He is a veterinarian and has been practicing this trade for over 11 years. He makes his purchases in the nearby markets and resells his animals in his local market.

The profit he earns allows him to have a steer as a profit and the loan allows him to better cover his family's expenses. He is counting on RMCR to purchase many sheep to expand his business.

In the future, he hopes to have a higher loan to expand his animal-raising business in order to improve living conditions for himself and his family.
