Christian's story

I was born in Africa but was raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, which is a 15 minute train ride from New York City. I was always told that New York City was the “Fashion Capital” of the United States. I started believing that when my parents would take us to “The City” on day trips because we couldn't afford to go on family vacations. They would show my sisters and I all the wonderful people, cultures and things to do there. I was intrigued by the different fashion trends New York City had to offer. I was also a kid that was into to drawing, painting and wearing clothes that represented the 1990s era.

My teenage years were a bit different from my childhood experiences. By then, I’d put most of my attention towards sports and girls. I'd lost some interest in art but was still into fashion. My friends and I would buy clothes and accessories that would make us stand out from our peers.

My young adulthood was spent going to the New York City night clubs on the weekends. I also started to regain passion in art. I would sketch sneakers, suits, and other clothing garments at home and on slow days at work.

About 4 years ago, I realized how passionate I've always been about fashion and art. I also realized that theres more to life than working a “9 to 5” job or career. I wanted to use my creativity and passion to build a clothing line.

My future goals for my business is to connect with as many people as I can, and continue to grow my business. I also I hope that I leave this world happy doing something I truly love.
