A loan of $3,425 helped a member to buy flour and oil for later resale.

Fassokatagne Group's story

Setou is a Malian housewife who is married to a farmer. She is 40 years old and the mother of two children aged 10 and 6. She did not get the opportunity to go to school.

Apart from carrying out her household chores she also sells food (flour, oil, and millet). Setou has been doing this for over 12 years. She buys the products at the local markets and resells them for a profit at the same local markets.

Thanks to the profits she earns from her sales Setou is able to take care of her family's needs and cover her children's expenses. In the future, she would like to start other businesses so that she can grow and be financially independent from her husband.

Setou has no other source of revenue which is why she is turning to RMCR in order to accomplish her dream by buying enough products to resell so that she can satisfy her family's food needs.
