A loan helped to renovate the school building and purchase stationery for students.

Mariam's story

Mariam is a 19-year-old enthusiastic woman who has started running a school that was established by her family almost a decade ago. There are 200 students enrolled in her school and 44% of them are female students.

She says that most of the students in her school come from uneducated families, and therefore parents cannot work in partnership with the teachers in the educational process. Consequently, teachers have to work hard to ensure that students gain wide knowledge within the school day.

She wants to provide a better learning environment for her students, so she plans to renovate the building and purchase stationery for the students, but she lacks funds.

She has requested an amount of PKR 70,000 to renovate the school building and purchase stationery for students.
