Khem's story

Khem is 41 years old who lived in remote village of Trapeang Reang Village, Akphivoadth Commune, Tuek Phos District, Kampong Chhnang Province. She is a widowed mother of two children. She is operating a farming business and also raising some babies pigs at home. Nowadays she can make profit of about USD 11.00 a day.

Khem would like to order a solar system to install at her home. The solar system will be help her family members to gain access to clean energy, get light to use at night. With solar power, they can use the radio, TV, water pump, or phone charger for their entertainment, but now she has a shortage with the money.

Due to a shortage of funds, Khem is making a decision to request a loan from HKL, which will help them to get the solar home system that they need. Khem's family would like to say thanks to all of lenders for their kindness for helping a poor family such as hers.
