Nonita's story

Nonita F. of Brgy. Nayon, San Enrique, Negros Occidental is a 51-year-old married woman with five children. She is single-minded in her mission to assist her husband in improving their family's quality of life.

For over fifteen years now, Mrs. F. has been engaged in buying and selling fish and shrimps in the community and other neighboring towns. This earns for the family Php 8,000 per month and she says that the income is a big help. The goal that she had when she joined NWTF-Project Dungganon - to improve her family's condition, is slowly being fulfilled. Strong determination, hard work, courage, perseverance and patience are the keys to her success.

Mrs. F.' new loan of Php 15,000 from Project Dungganon is her 13th. The loan will be utilized as additional capital for her business. She plans to invest in a transport vehicle so that she can deliver her products faster and with more efficiency.
