A loan of $425 helped purchase prepaid phone cards & make equipment repairs.

Pilar's story

Pilar is 20 years old and lives with her parents in the family home. One year ago, she used her hard-earned savings to start a locutorio (call center) out of her house. She manages and attends to her business every day. Pilar is seeing positive results at the moment because her customers prefer her business because of its location on one of the main streets of the city. She hopes to capitalize on this advantage so that she can make improvements to her business. Some of the things that she wants to accomplish in the future are to modernize her phone equipment and begin selling mobile phone parts and accessories.

This is the second time Pilar has taken a loan from MFP. She is very pleased to be part of a communal bank that has overcome many difficulties. This has renewed her commitment to stay actively involved. The money she is requesting will be used to purchase prepaid phone cards and repair her existing equipment.
