A loan of $175 helped increase inventory.

Juana's story

Juan is 61 years old. She lives in a rented house with one of her daughters. A year and a half ago she decided to begin selling various products, depending on the season. Currently she sells blankets, going out every morning from house to house, offering her merchandise. For Juana, this is very relaxing activity although she walks innumerable blocks to make sales. With her earnings and savings, she was able to start a business selling food on the weekends a few months ago. Due to the constant growth in her businesses, Juana has decided to continue working in this manner. This is the first time she has requested a loan through MFP. She is happy because this loan is an opportunity to make progress, and she feels committed to the communal bank she has joined. The money that she is requesting will be used to purchase blankets for sale and new bowls for her business selling food.
