A loan of $1,100 helped repair his taxi.

Tomás's story

Tomás is a dedicated family man, as the well-being of his 2 children are the priority for him and his wife. They live in his father-in-law’s home. Since they married he invested his money in buying an automobile, with which he has worked for 16 years in his city providing taxi service. Tomás begins his work at 5 in the morning, an hour when there are few public buses, taking advantage of the demand, and he finished his work at midnight. He tries to obtain the greatest amount of earnings needed to meet his household needs. On the other hand, Tomás is very prudent about the danger of his car being stolen, so his wife accompanies him during the dangerous hours so as not to take any risks. Now he is thinking about renting a new vehicle, which he will rent and manage its earnings, without stopping his own taxi service. This is his first individual loan with MFP, as his work was always in a group before, but because of urgent needs he decided to increase his working capital and he hopes to continue counting on Microfinanzas PRISMA to provide him the necessary support for his business. The 3200 soles that he seeks will allow him to fix the mechanical problems his car has so that it works normally.
