Parveen's story

Parveen is a 58-year-old woman; she lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan with her two children. Her husband is responsible to fulfill the needs of family. Parveen is providing sewing services and earn the income to contribute with her husband to manage the household.

She is needs different kinds of tailoring accessories e.g., needles, thread, pieces of cloth, buttons and a sewing machine for her business purposes, but due to insufficient financial means she is unable to purchase these items.

Therefore she has applied for a Kiva loan from its field partner, BRAC Pakistan. This loan will enable her to purchase these above items and also helpful for her to increase monthly sales and profit by providing better sewing services.
