A loan of $1,100 helped purchase of handbags, "pagnes", costume jewelry, and shoes for resale.

Iyabo's story

This woman began selling "pagnes" (brightly colored lengths of African print cloth) in 2002. Later she added on the sale of costume jewelry, ladies' handbags, and shoes. She is well known in her neighborhood because of her dynamic personality. Her present inventory does not allow her to meet the needs of her clientele. In order to satisfy everyone appropriately, she is asking WAGES for a loan to buy 18 lengths of high quality "pagne" fabric of the Hi-Target brand, ten or so pieces of costume jewelry, some handbags, and some shoes.

Since she is single, she supports herself and her family with the income from her business.
