A loan helped to repair his Surla and buy a new one so he can continue to perform during the wedding season, which is just starting.

Remzi's story

Remzi comes from the Ashkali minority community. He is 49 years old and has three children. He has a good character and makes his living by performing on a Surla, which is a wind instrument played mostly at weddings. This instrument is very demanding and popular in the area and people are very amused by its melody.

At the moment, Remzi needs a loan to repair his Surla and buy a new one so he can continue to perform during the wedding season, which is just starting. With this job he has been able to provide for his family his whole life and he wants to further improve their wellbeing and living conditions. He is very grateful for the help!

This loan is special because:

It supports excluded and displaced populations in Kosovo.
