A loan of $2,075 helped a member to buy sheep for later resale.

Cesiri-Ton Group's story

Moussa is seen in the photo with the other members of the group, he is holding the goat's horn. He is fifty-six years old, married and father to twelve children aged between four and twenty-four years. Five of his children currently attend school. His wife looks after the household and helps support the family by selling various products.

Moussa has been raising sheep and goats for more than twenty years. He buys his livestock from the local market. Thanks to his business, Moussa is able to provide for the nutritional needs of his family and the school fees of his children.

Moussa will use his loan to buy five sheep for which he will provide proper veterinary care. He will then be able to sell them and make more profit than usual. He expects to make between 20,000 and 25,000 francs CFA for each sheep. He is a generous man and has a good reputation in his village. In the future, he would like to benefit from further loans so he can expand his business more.
