A loan of $675 helped buy machinery for her business.

Casilda's story

Casilda is 29. She lives with her 38 year old husband, Eugenio, and their children; 14 year old Jocelyn, 11 year old Angélica, and 5 year old Diana. With the desire to provide her family with a better quality of life, she saw how convenient it would be to work in the business her husband started. He solders in a fishing factory, and he had the idea of making ovens. Casilda manages all of the income and expenses, and she buys all of the materials needed for the workers to make ovens.

She wishes for her family to progress, and this business is a good source of income. Also, she feels independent and useful to society.

In the near future she would like to expand her factory, buy more tools, and contract more people to also generate a source of employment.

This is her first loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA. She expects to work very well with the institution. She promises to be very punctual with all of her payments. The loan is to buy a machine that will help with making the ovens. Casilda feels that this purchase is the first step in improving her business.
