These members belong to the Communal Bank “Villa Hermosa”. The bank is located in the District of Andahuaylillas in Quispicanchis Province, Department of Cusco.
Sra. Maria is one of the members. She is 36 years old, in a common-law relationship, and has three children. Maria works at her business of raising animals, such as guinea pigs and chickens. With this business, she wants to be able to open a grocery store. Her dream has always been to have her own business. Maria would also like to have a larger space where she can sell her animals. She is requesting a loan in order to buy guinea pigs, chickens, and also feed for the animals.
The other group members engage in businesses that involve agriculture, selling animals, selling groceries, and selling livestock.
