Farhat's story

Farhat is a 30-year-old married woman, who established a low-cost private school in a small community four years ago. There are 265 students enrolled in the school and 43% of them are female students. The aim of the school is to help the poor children of the community to have access to quality education which would ultimately help them to achieve their full potential and have a better future. Additionally, Farhat wants to provide her students an environment which makes learning meaningful.

Currently there is no electric water cooler in the school and students do not have access to cold drinking water during summers. Moreover there is shortage of furniture in the school. She has requested an amount of PKR. 100,000 to purchase furniture and an electric water cooler for the school.
