A loan of $1,025 helped a member to purchase seven sheep.

Bineta's Group's story

These two women are part of a group from the 'banc villageois’. Ms. Bineta, at the right in the photo with a hand raised, is the group's representative. She is married and the mother of seven. A very good and honest woman, she has been active in retail commerce since joining the 'banc villageois' in April 2010. She makes the rounds of the weekly markets in nearby villages to trade in livestock.

With her new loan, she intends to purchase seven sheep. Her profits will enable her to bolster her working capital while replenishing her savings.
