A loan of $1,275 helped to buy beans and plastic bags for packaging and other supplies in order to stock up.

Claudia Betsabe's story

Claudia, age 30, is married and has two children. She lives with her family in a community in Roatán, Islas de la Bahía. She previously sold nuts and other seeds.

She currently has her own business processing beans to sell. This business has been established for one year at a place that she rents. She sells liquefied, processed beans in bags, and she distributes to grocery stores in the area where she lives.

She is requesting her first loan for the amount of 30,000 lempiras. She will use the loan to buy beans wholesale, plastic bags for packaging, and other supplies to stock her inventory in order to keep enough to process and sell.

Her plan is to have her own place to engage in her business activity and to strengthen her business in order to get better earnings.
