A loan of $325 helped to pay for his son’s university tuition at the Pedagogical University.

Normahmad's story

Normahmad was born in 1968 into a worker's family. He is married and has children. He and his children live in Gonchi, Tajikistan. Normahmad deals in farming, and he has been working for more than ten years in this sphere.

Normahmad is the breadwinner for his family and is responsible for providing his family with life's necessities. Because of his low income and of having a big family to provide for, Normahmad hasn’t saved money for his son’s university tuition. His son is studying at the Pedagogical University. The university is asking for the tuition fees, but Normahmad lacks the funds. Therefore, he is asking now for a loan of 2,500 TJS to pay for his son’s university tuition.

Normahmad is a repeat client and has a positive credit history. This is his seventh loan through Kiva’s field partner, IMON. He hopes that Kiva lenders will help and support him.

This loan is special because:
