A loan of $1,000 helped buy corn and stock her store.

Rosalina's story

Rosalina G. D. M. lives in the San Martin municipality in the San Salvador department. Rosalina, 50, lives with her husband and their three children. Two children are grown and working. Her third child, a daughter, is an 11 year old student.

Rosalina has a tortilla shop and a store in her house. She has 15 years of experience, and she is well known in her colony. She, therefore, has a stable customer base.

Rosalina is now asking for a loan to buy corn to use in making the tortillas and to stock her store.
