A loan of $550 helped to buy groceries, plates, disposable products, and bags.

Esther's story

Esther is a member of the Always Together (Siempre Juntas) Community Bank. She is 51 years old and is a single mother of a 29-year-old daughter, who is working. Esther is from Huancayo and was a teacher, but when she came to Lima, she stopped working because she got married and was taking care of her daughter. When she and her husband separated, however, she started selling groceries and plastic products. She has had a stand in a fair for 25 years. Since she has been with Finca, Esther has learned to work and to be responsible with repayments. Esther needs a loan of 1600 soles to buy groceries, plates, disposable products, and bags. Her dream is to have another stand for her work.
