A loan of $1,400 helped to buy manure.

Ronald's story

Ronald lives in a in Sembabule. He lives with his wife, and they have six children. They make a living growing and selling coffee from their 2-hectare plot of land. They also do seasonal work after the coffee harvest growing corn and basic staples, an additional source of income for their family.

Ronald wants to increase the yield and quality of his coffee, and he knows that one way to do this is to fertilize it with environmentally friendly organic fertilizers, making the soil more productive. He will then be able to get better prices at market, which will allow him to obtain a better quality of life.

This is his second loan with UGAFODE, and he is grateful for the trust placed in him to better plan for investments.
