A loan of $250 helped to pay the rent on the land where he plants crops.

Jose Fredy's story

José, aged 37, studied up to eighth grade. He is married and his wife works on domestic chores. They have four children, who are in school.

José has worked in agriculture since he was 20 years old. He learned this work with his parents and older brother. He now works together with his children.

He needs a lot of help from a loan to pay the rent on the land where he plants crops. His two previous Kiva loans helped him a lot to keep working, and he has already finished paying them off.

José dreams of providing his children with a good education.
