Mrs. Thav Chea Village Bank Group's story

This village bank which consists of eleven members is located in Ta Nu village in Kandal Province. The members plan to use the loans they obtain for different purposes.

Mrs. Thav C. is the village bank president who has been selected by the members. She is a laborer who has been hired by the villagers. She owns a small piece of land to cultivate rice to earn a living. In this plantation, she faces an obstacle because she does not have enough money to cultivate rice in the field. Thus, Mrs. Thav C. decided to ask for a loan for this purpose. She is a 37-year-old widow and the mother of a child who is attending the local school.
