A loan of $2,075 helped to purchase potato seeds to have a rich harvest this year.

Emma's story

Meet Emma! This nice woman is a 42-year-old agronomist from the Shirak region, an under-served zone. There, Emma lives with her husband and two children, aged 16 and 17.

Emma and her husband, Karapet, support their children's basic needs thanks to the farm they run. Emma started the farm 20 years ago when she just got married. Currently, she is engaged in the rich land cultivation process and keeps several bulls. Emma grows potatoes, beets, carrots, and fodder for the oxen. Emma's husband sells natural vegetables in a stall he runs in the local market.

Emma constantly improves her farm and tries her best to provide proper living standards for her children. She has applied for this loan to purchase potato seeds in order to have a rich harvest this year. The harvest sales will allow Emma to collect enough money and cover her elder child's university tuition fees.
