Karlen's story

Karlen is 59 years old, and he lives near Ijevan, a city in the Tavush region, with his wife and son’s family. Karlen used to work as a mechanic at a private company, but now he is farming. He has cows, calves, a bull, a lot of pigs and piglets, and also chickens. Karlen also has a nice orchard, where he has planted apple, apricot, pear, plum, and fig trees. He and his wife sell these fruits and also his farm’s meat, milk, cheese, and eggs at the wholesale market during the week.

Karlen will be very happy to receive this loan because he wants to buy two pigs and also fodder for all of his livestock.
