A loan of $300 helped a member to buy a water filter to provide safe drinking water for her family.

Pich's Group's story

Pich’s group lives in a rural village in the Pursat province of Cambodia. Pich makes a living cultivating rice, and she also does extra work as farmer to support her family. Their village has no reliable access to safe, clean drinking water.

Having a water filter at home will help each of these women to safeguard the health of her family, save money on medical expenses, and save the time spent collecting fuel and boiling water.

In this group: Pich, Thoa, Phalla, Thain, Kuon

This loan is special because:

It provides low-income households with access to clean drinking water.
