A loan helped to buy more chicks, feed, vaccines, feeders, and drinkers.

Suh John's story

He is married and blessed with seven children. They all live in an eight-bedroom house in Bafut, North West Region of Cameroon. He has faced some challenges in life such as accident, the death of his parents and the death of his 150 chicks.

He was motivated to become a member of GHAPE by his friends who have been GHAPE members. He joined GHAPE in the year 2011 and he thinks his business will succeed because of his wonderful experience developed over time.

With the new loan requested he will buy more chicks, feed, vaccines, feeders, and drinkers for his poultry. The activity will help the community in that there will be meat available at moderate prices. He has successfully borrowed and repaid four loans. The profit from this loan helps him pay for his children's school fees and takes care of his family needs.

He knows his business is going to succeed because he has the experience and has a good environment for his chicks. He prefers a loan from GHAPE because it has a cheap interest rate and a convenient repayment scheduled.

This loan is special because:

It is coupled with multi-faceted trainings to support the poorest in Cameroon.
