Twizerane Nyabugogo Group's story

Ignace is 33 years old and married with one child. Due to his experience and background, he was nominated as the group leader for Twizerane Nyabugogo. Ignace is the man with his hand raised in the picture.

Ignace has owned and operated a secondhand shoe business for the past four years. Like many of those in the group, his business is well organized and requires that he work from 6am to 10pm every day. Despite the long days, Ignace is determined to operate a successful business in order to provide a better life for his children.

Ignace has requested a loan from Kiva through VisionFund Rwanda Company in order to buy more secondhand shoes to sell. With the profits from this loan, he will be able to reinvest in his business, pay school fees for his children, and save for his future.
