Mrs. Lorng S., 45 years old mother of 5 children, lives with her husband in a part of Preyveng Province, Cambodia. She and her husband sell pork to retail stores along the roadside of her village. They typically make about $6 perday in revenue. Two of their children attend school and get involved with her business whenever they are free, while the rest aremarried and stay with their own families.
Meanwhile, Lorng S. is humbly requesting the loan amount of $1000 to meet her clients' needs and maximize the size of her growing business by purchasing more pigs to invest in a small booth. She eventually hopes the loan will help her and her family. In the future, she is committed to have enough money to purchase a stand at a market, where she is able to makes additional profit from this business activity.
