Tarapaca Ii Group's story

The Tarapaca II communal bank will begin its fifth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata regional center. It is comprised of nine members and led by a board of directors. Eva is the president.

The loan they will take out will benefit small businesswomen where Eva is a member. She currently has a business of selling food. She says that she learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan that she now take out will be to buy rice, noodles, and cooking oil wholesale. She will get them from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. After making the food she will sell it at her sales space. This way of working allows her to generate resources to financially support her family. She is an independent, single woman.
