Oeu's story

From day to day, Oeu S. goes about buying essential ingredients, such as sugar, floor, banana and oil, that she uses to make grilled bananas. She works from her home and sells for a profit. Oeu S. is a humble 54-year-old villager. She is a mother blessed with seven children: five are single and two are married and living independently. Five of her children are employed in the field doing various work; while her husband works in construction.


Oeu S. will be using her loan to help sustain her daughter’s silk skirt business. That business is profitable and is helping to meet the family’s daily living expenses.
