A loan of $500 helped buy seeds, fertilizers, and manure to start planting.

Ulises Francisco's story

Ulises M. is 36, married, and he lives in the Los Cedros region of the Villa del Carmen community. His wife is a teacher. They have four children; ages 10, 7, 4, and 6 months.

The short-term plan is to improve the infrastructure of his house. The long-term plan is for his children to have the best education.

He works in the mayor’s office in Villa del Carmen. He has been the Director of Civilian Records for six months. He previously worked in property management as an analyst.

He has land that he would like to cultivate, but he has money problems. They do not lend him the amount he needs to invest in his land. His work has increased very little.

Thanks to a loan from Afodenic, he will be able to plant in the areas that he had not covered with the purchase of seeds and manure. He has two plots of land, and only one of them is planted with corn. With the loan, he will be able to plant wheat. He will then get greater use and earnings for his family.
