Four Sisters Group's story

Four Sisters is a group consisting of four Filipino women working as domestic workers in Lebanon. They gathered in order to benefit from this group loan so they would be able to pay for their children's university tuition fees. They are previous borrowers from Kiva's field partner, Al Majmoua andthis will be their 6th cycle of loans with the association.

Fatima, the woman who is wearing glasses, is the featured borrower of this group. She is a 44-year-old Filipino domestic worker in Lebanon. She left her four children and came to Lebanon so she would be able to pay for their school, and now university, tuition fees. Fatima is a devoted mother who wants her children to be successful and lead better lives; this is why she requested this group loan.

Her group mates have the same purpose. You can see in the photo Fatima N., who is the second on the left and Amelyn who is wearing grey and Concedcion who is the second on the right side of the photo.
