A loan helped a member to purchase more removable shed for her business.

Voeun Group's story

Voeun, 57, is a married mother of three children who resides in the Kampong Cham province of Cambodia. She has a portable shed, chairs, tables and musical instruments for rent and prepares food for weddings and other ceremonies. She and her husband have been running this business together to earn profits to support their family living for the past 20 years.

Voeun is now asking for a loan with her group of three members (the small kid in the photo is a member's child). As a group leader, appearing first on the right, she would like to use her loan share to purchase more portable sheds for her business. She sees this investment as allowing her to better support her customers' needs and increase her family profits as well.

In the future, she is going to expand her business and to renovate her house.
