Phon S., 31, has been involved in a business of selling beverages and raising livestock at home with a typical income of US $2.6 per day in Takeo Province since 2000. S. works so hard all days to ensure a comfortable standard of living for the family. S. is a widow. She is blessed with two young children who have been enrolled in a local primary school. S. really wants to take a loan of US $1000 to expand her inventory by purchasing various kinds of beverages for her store. By doing this, she hopes that she will be able to generate a better income to cover her family expenses as well as to save to support her children’s future education.
