Nub K., 31, produces doormats in the province of Takeo. She typically generates an income of $2.60 US per day. K. and her husband work hard daily to ensure a comfortable standard of living for their family. K. and her husband are blessed with two young children who have not attended school yet. Her husband is employed as a driver for a private company and earns around $5 per day. K. is requesting a loan of US $700 to purchase fabrics and silk to produce more doormats and silk scarves. By doing this, she hopes that she will be able to increase her output to generate more income so she can cover her family expenses. She also wants to save money so she can pay for her children’s future education.
