Arayik's story

Arayik is 49 years old and lives with his wife, son and his parents in Lchashen village of Gegharkunik region. Since, 2008, Arayik has been the village shepherd, and he also has a cute farm of his own, which is the only source of income for his family.

On his farm he has cows, calves, bulls and heifers. From his farm, Arayik sells a lot of beef and mutton and also milk, cheese and eggs. His parents also cultivate potatoes on their land, and the sale of their farm products helps them to sustain their family's needs.

Arayik is asking for this loan of 700,000 Armenian drams (AMD), as he wants to buy one more cow and also fodder for all his farm cattle.
