Ku Lar Su (D) Village Group's story

Pictured above are Nilar, Dar, Sann, Phoe and Than, members from Ku Lar Su (D) Village Group. They are villagers from Dedaye, a town located in the Ayeyarwady region of Myanmar.

Nilar (second from the left in the picture) is the representative of this group. She is 35 years old, married, and is a mother of two children. She gets up early in the morning, cooks for her family, and takes her two kids to school. Afterward, she sometimes washes clothes beside the stream near her house. She pastures 150 ducks and gives them supplemental feed them as well. She is happy with her ducks, as her ducks lay eggs both in the morning and the evening. She can earn small amounts of cash by collecting and selling the eggs. This Kiva loan will help her to purchase high-quality duck feed and extra ducks.
