A loan of $500 helped to buy materials for his restaurant business and to fix his car.

Limber's story

Limber is 27 years old. He lives with his partner who is the mother of his two small children. At this time they are living in his mother’s house. For a year he has had a small cart (it is a mobile cart where he can fry food as he moves from place to place). Every night he sells fried chicken and French fries or sausage and French fries from the cart in the suburbs near his house. In order to do this work, he depends on this wife to be in charge of the preparation of the food while he serves his customers. Also, in the mornings he transports people in his car. He has served as a driver since he was eighteen years old. Limber is happy with both of these businesses because they provide a good income that he uses to support his family. This is his second loan from MFP. One of the things he likes the most about the cooperative bank is that his colleagues are personally responsible and they are a cohesive group. The money that he is asking for will be used to buy tables, chairs and tablecloths that will be used by his diners. Also he will fix his car because it has been having some mechanical problems.
