A loan of $975 helped to buy charcoal.

Ama's story

This woman, age 37, came to Lomé to establish herself several years ago already. Currently, she is divorced, and she has two children in her care. Selling charcoal is the revenue-generating business that she operates and that allows her to support her children appropriately. She stocks up from the country’s interior. Wanting to expand her stock in order to sell more, she is requesting a loan from WAGES to buy 20 sacks of charcoal.
