A loan helped a member to purchase pigs for raising and selling.

Thanh Yen 38 Group's story

Huong, 34, is a Thai ethnic woman who is married and lives with her father-in-law, her husband, and her two children in a poor village. Her daughter and her son now study at grade 5 and grade 7.

Like other villagers, her main income is from agricultural production. Sometimes, she has to go to the market to sell chicken and ducks in order to get more money for living. Huong took one loan from the Anh Chi Em program to expand her farming business and repaid it successfully.

This time, she has taken a new loan from the Anh Chi Em program to purchase pigs for raising and selling. She plans to use the profit from this investment to develop her farm and cover tuition fees for her children.

She hopes that her children will have good results in school.
