Naivasha, Kenya / Beauty Salon

A loan of $1,050 helped to buy more cosmetics and hair products and to buy a new hair dryer.

Leah Waihuini's story

Leah T. is a single mother of a 13-year-old girl. Her daughter is in high school. She runs a beauty salon in Naivasha Town in the Rift Valley province of Kenya.

This is Leah's second loan with KADET. She intends to buy a new hair dryer and also restock the hair products she uses from the proceeds of this loan.

Her dream is to one day open a hairdressing and beauty school. This will enable her to give the opportunity of learning to those who could not qualify for a university education but have a passion and talent in hairdressing and beauty.

About KADET:
