A loan of $575 helped purchase ingredients, tables, chairs and plates.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth V. D. belongs to the “El Arenal” Communal Bank. She lives on Jr. Ricardo Palma in the city of Pucallpa. She is 43 years old, has three children and her husband is a professor.

She started the business selling meals, such as juanes, tacacho, and pescado asado, in the afternoons and evenings. With her first 300 PEN loan, she set herself up with a grill and ingredients.

Her good service and charisma have attracted many customers and she has had to increase her loan amount.
With this 1,700 PEN loan, she will expand her business and purchase tables, chairs, cooking ingredients and everything she needs to make her business look good.

She says that Manuela Ramos is the only institution she works with because they offer low interest rates and make it easy to obtain a loan.
